Sometimes you have to strip the office down to the bare essentials and start all over again. Pulling up the last of the nasty carpet and grinding all the yuck off the slab is the mother of all excuses to rethink everything. I'll be working in this stripped-down version of my office for a while as the downstairs renovation proceeds, and I'll be adding things back from the pile o' schtuff in the living room staging area only as I find I need them.
